The Haves and the Have Nots is a prime time cable drama show written by Tyler Perry, focusing on the interacting lives of the rich Cryer and Harrington families, and the poor Young family. Hanna Young, a struggling maid working for the Cryers, is a woman who was not the best person in the past but is now a woman of faith. But her faith, and her resolve are tested when she finds out that her promiscuous daughter Candace Young (to whom she tries desperately to avoid) has included herself into the lives of her mother's employer, Jim Cryer, and his family.
